Wednesday Message 9-4-19
Wednesday Greetings,
"Sing praises to the LORD, O you his faithful ones, and give thanks to his holy name. For his anger is but for a moment; his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning." Psalm 30:4-5
God is very passionate about us and all of creation. With passion comes feelings of joy and anger. It's so wonderful when we feel the joy of God around us, and it's frightening when we feel God's anger.
The Good News is that we know through Christ, that God is gracious and forgiving. We need only to ask, and to change our lives to show God our gratitude for the grace that God so freely gives.
It is that easy. We just tend to make it all so much more complicated by reliving, beating ourselves up, and repeating the sin/mistake that God has forgiven.
Let your life be a sign to God of your gratitude for the grace God gives.
