Lord, help me find a piece of peace.

I know joys and struggles are happening at the same time in every life all around the world, and in my life as I pray this prayer to you now.

I just need a piece of peace, just a moment, just a portion, just a breath.

As I quiet my mind from everything else, and pray this prayer, help me, even in the breath I breathe while I pray it, to simply feel your peace in my life.

(breathe)

And Lord, help me to carry that peace with me into all the pieces of my life, that I, and others who encounter me, may know the peace of your presence in our lives.

You're such a gift to us, God.  Bless you.  We love you, too.
