When the Day Feels Too Heavy

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

Some days simply feel harder than others. When worries pile up, remember that you do not have to carry them alone. God does not promise that every difficult day will disappear, but God promises to be present in the middle of it. Take a breath, place today in God’s hands, and trust that God's strength can carry you when your own feels insufficient. If God can figure out how to make hippos, mosquitoes, sea horses, and earthworms, God can guide you through whatever you are facing.  Whatever today brings, God is with you—and you are not alone.
