Today is National Hot Dog Day.
I'll be at Costco later today for my $1.50 hot dog and water to celebrate.

Now, this may not sound like a spiritual holiday, but come on...  It's not just the hot dog, it's the toppings.  And it has to have mustard, ketchup, and sweet pickle relish, or it's just not worth eating!

You may debate that.  And I can't imagine why.  Because what's a hot dog without all three toppings?

Funny how different we all are.  

I don't think any wars have been started over the debate about hot dog toppings.  But sometimes.... we humans fight over the dumbest stuff.  For the most part, we honor each other's differences in likes and dislikes of toppings.

Maybe if we learned to do that... on a grander scale..... well, maybe we wouldn't have to fight each other so much.

Maybe there is a spiritual lesson in National Hot Dog Day!
