Happy Halloween.

It's a fun time to try on a costume, become someone (or something) else for a while.

I'm reminded of Scripture (hahahahah, of course I am)

Romans 13:14 - Clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ
Galatians 3:27 - all you who were baptized in Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ
Ephesians 4:22-24 - Christians are to put off their old self and "put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness"
Colossians 3:10 - Put on the new self, in the image of the Creator

The difference is that the Bible doesn't call us to have the "Physical Appearance," only the physical ACTION.

Remember the song... "They'll know we are Christians by our hairdos, our style of clothing, our beards, our physique?"

NOOOOO.  They'll know we are Christians by our LOVE.

We aren't called to "look" like Jesus, but we are called to act like Jesus.

So, look like yourself.  And act like Jesus.

Happy Halloween,

Peace in our journeys,
