"Were you there when they crucified my Lord?"  

This Holy Week song challenges us to imagine what it would have been like to be there when Jesus was crucified.  What a horrible time it must have been!  I cannot even imagine the horror.  Crowds of people shouted, "Hosanna," as Jesus rode into Jerusalem. Then crowds of people shouted, "Crucify him," as they offered a chance for Jesus to be released.

How is it that we move from praising God to denying God so quickly?

How has your faith followed the same sort of pattern?

And yet, on that third day.... the "empty" tomb poured forth grace into the world.

May that grace keep us praising.
