Monday is usually my day off.  And on Monday mornings I enjoy lounging on the couch until 10 a.m. when The Price is Right come on the television.   Guilty Pleasure confession!

I am so good at it.   I get the prices right better than most of the called contestants.  I don't know why they don't listen to me as I call out my guesses!

I'm sure those who make the stage have been like me on their days off, too.  Watching from afar, learning the games, feeling better at it than those on the TV.

It's just once you get to the stage....   it's a lot harder than from your couch.

Isn't life like that?!   Sitting back from our couch we could tell just about anyone how to live life better.   But when we get off the couch and try to live life.... well.... it's just not as easy as it looks.

Remember, be patient with other people.  You just don't know what's going on in their lives, what they are facing, what their experience has been.  And it's a lot harder to actually live life than to observe it and judge it.

Perhaps that's one of the reasons God incarnated into a human form in Jesus.   In doing so, I know that God understands, and is so patient with me as I make my way through this life.  I'm grateful.

Let's be so with others!   I think it would be a kinder way!
