#CPC Wednesday Message 10-26-22

Posted by Pastor Steve Melde on

Wednesday Greetings,

Ugh.  When I arrived into my office this morning, I saw the sight.  It was my desktop.  Well, OK, I could not see my desktop.   Right now I have so many things going on in so many different directions that I have piles for each event, that have now morphed into just one big pile.  Bleh.  The mess seems overwhelming. So, I sat down at my desk to write this Wednesday Message in the midst of the mess.   I asked God for some help.  In my head, I remembered how much I love the piano music of George Winston.  I asked Alexa to play his Autumn album (appropriate time, eh?).  The music is at the same time peaceful and exhilarating.  And suddenly, I found God with me in the mess, in the midst of the chaos.Let's go.  So, I looked at the list I made yesterday of the things I knew I needed to accomplish this week, decided I just needed to write to you about this morning's God experience, and I'm on my way to just check things off the list, one at a time. That's the best any of us can do.  Find our center.  And then start checking things off the list. For me, finding my center in God is what it takes to turn the day completely around.  I'm grateful for the mess?  No.  But I'm grateful that God is with me in the chaos.  That's enough for me.May you find a God moment today too.   Let's go.
Peace in our journeys,
Pastor Steve Melde
