Spring!!   

Besides the onslaught of allergies that make my life extra challenging, Spring is a truly lovely time for me.  It's not so cold as winter, it's not so hot as summer.   The Mesquite trees bloom in their deep orange.  The Palo Verde trees bloom in their bright yellow.  The desert is alive with colorful wildflowers, especially because of the unusually wet winter we had.

I look forward to the saguaros crowning with their gorgeous flowers.

Even our desert tortoise, Harvey, gets excited, wakes up and comes out to feed again.  He's quite entertaining for the grandkids.

At it's simplest, each change in season reminds me that as each season ends, a new one begins.

Where we see endings, God sees beginnings.

I trust in God who knows how to move life along, who takes me from season to season, who is with me as things end and as things begins.

I pray you do too.
