Not Just Yesterday

Yesterday was Veterans' Day.   And it was so great to see so many people post on social media about their gratitude.  There was a parade; banks and schools were closed.  And our military veterans were honored.

Sometimes I get concerned that we set aside a special day to honor somebody, or some group of somebodies, and that's the only day we are nice to them!

These holidays are meant to give us special focus days so that we can be reminded that this is how we are to treat others, all the time.

In part, that's what Sunday is for... a day set aside for God.... but that should not be our only day to be nice to God.... we should be that way allllllll the time.  

Right?
