#CPCtucsona Wednesday Message 1-28-26
Wednesday Greetings,
"The past is a prologue for the future."
I read that quote recently and was struck.....
Reading it allowed me to let go of the past, to know that it was just a precursor to what is next. That feeling allowed me to move on from things that have affected me, that sometimes I carry with me (especially those that are burdensome).
It also allowed me to bless the past. I can learn from it, without being controlled by it, by repeating it, by being haunted by it. The lessons from it move me forward into the future.
And then I realized that though the past informs and affects the future, it doesn't control it. Learning from the past helps me shape the future.
And then I took a breath. And I gave thanks that God is with me in the past, the future, and must be with me in the present.
And so.... on I go, on we go.
I hope this helps you, too.
