#CPC Wednesday Message 9-30-23
Wednesday Greetings,
I got my teeth cleaned this morning. I love going to the dentist; I always have. Of course, growing up, my dad was a dentist and my sister a hygienist. The only bad part, really, was having to be a guinea pig for the new flavors of fluoride. I had to try it on my tongue. Bleh!
Nowadays, as an adult, I consider it a time when someone really digs into my life to help me get my life cleaned up. It's not fully comfortable, but I really see it as such a help. For me, prayer is that, too. I don't hold anything back. I let God fully in. It's cleaning time! I encourage you to really open yourself to God in your prayer. Let God into all the parts that need cleaning. It's not always comfortable, but it leads to such better living, better health, deeper faith. And of course... I always have to return. No sooner does the hygienist get me all cleaned up... but I mess it up. And so I return, regularly for a cleaning. As I do in prayer! Peace in our journeys,
Pastor Steve Melde
