Let's take just a second.  You'll want several.  You might even take a minute.
But it's worth every second you take.

When life feels out of control or overwhelming for you, re-focus on God.

Perhaps you're in the hospital and everything seems to be going wrong, and it's cold (it's always cold in the hospital).    Perhaps you are learning a new life routine with a baby in the house and you just don't know how you are going to take care of everything.  Perhaps you're alone, again, and all the thoughts that plague you in your aloneness are swirling in your head.  Perhaps you are late to work, again, and the cars in front of you seem to be on a slow-moving-sight-seeing tour.

Perhaps.... (you fill in the blank) ____________________

Just take a second, and think of God, think of your relationship with God, think about how amazing God is, and how much love God has bestowed upon you through Jesus.  Just take a second and remind yourself this is all earthly stuff, and someday the heavenly stuff will be surrounding you and it will be all peace.  Just take a second and step outside our human chaos and remember that you are a beloved child of God and nothing will separate you from that love....

and just breathe a God breath.

Just take that second.  Take a few of them if you can.  Take 60 seconds.

Let your soul center you, and then go back your earthly life with the confidence of God's presence in your life.

You'll be amazed at what a difference it makes.
