Wednesday Greetings,
For me, I'm in shock that today is the first of September. I wasn't sure I'd ever get through the spring, let alone the summer. Each day seemed to drag on, but, gosh, it's already September, and the fall is on it's way in the foreseeable future.
It's a small reminder that time does pass, that seasons go and come, that days may drag, but they do pass and a new day comes, and the new day may still be filled with challenges, but a new season will dawn, and today will soon be in the past.
And no matter what God is with us; nothing can separate us from the love of God, this we know in Jesus the Christ.
Isaiah reminds us that the grass withers and the flower fades... but the Word of God lasts forever.
Today, may you know, that whatever kind of day you might have: one you can't wait for it to be over..... one you hope lasts a long time....
God is with you in it, and it will come to pass that this day will end and a new one will emerge, and soon, it will be a new season in your life.
Peace in our journeys,
Pastor Steve Melde
