I needed a bigger backpack.

Remembering back to school days... it was amazing all I could pack into a backpack.  The more I did in school, the more I needed to keep with me in the backpack, and the more meant needing a bigger backpack.... which led to a sore back!

I suppose our lives are still a lot like that.  We keep packing in more things.... worries, challenges, hopes, joys, fears, you name it, we stuff it in and carry it around.... until we need a bigger backpack... which really only leads to a sore back.

Scripture invites us to cast our burdens to the Lord.... I'm not sure the Lord will take all of them, some of them are ours to deal with, but certainly not all of them.  I do think we can let go of more that we carry, lighten the load, lessen the pain in the back.

What are you carrying around that you could actually let go of.... and lighten the load a bit?
