Lamentations 3:22-23 - The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning...

Lamentations is a wonderful Old Testament book, full of pain and sorrow (hence the name), and yet, in the midst, the writer pivots, remembering that God is faithful .... when God said, "I will be your God, and you will be my people,"  God meant it and stayed true to that promise.

It's in the remembering of this great gift that God gives us, that we make it through the hard parts of life, and it's this great gift that causes us to celebrate the great joys of life.

Every morning... may it be a new day for you, a new beginning in the love and grace of God we know of in Jesus the Christ.
