"Is this the time?"

Jesus' disciples asked that question several times.   People had been asking it for generations; people are still asking it.

And people are asking it now:  Is this the time?

Are all these signs of a global virus, terrible political unrest, environmental challenges... are they signs of the end-times?

Maybe.  Maybe not.   I choose not to worry about that.  The disciples were told that the time of Jesus' return wasn't theirs to worry about, to plan, to calculate.  They were not to worry about that, but they were to be busy living the life Jesus called and taught them to live.

You see, when you're busy living a faithful life, two things happen.

1.  You're too busy to worry about when Jesus will return and what that will all be like.

2.  It won't matter.  It won't matter because it's not up to you.  It's up to God:  the time, what happens, where any of us end up.  And I trust God to know what's best for me and for others.  So I'd rather have God find me busy helping God create heaven on earth than interpreting and worrying about the signs.

You?  Every day, every moment, you have a choice in how you live your life, how you live your faith.

Is this the time?   What does it matter ?????
