Wednesday Greetings,

For many of us it's really hard to share our faith with others, strangers, friends, and even family.   Yes, even among our friends and family, maybe even especially with our friends and family.  What will they think of you if you start talking about how you believe in God, how Jesus is your Savior, how the Holy Spirit is a part of your life?

But really..... why be afraid of that?

If you talk to someone about how wonderful God is, how grateful you are to know God in Jesus, how the Spirit challenges you to live a faithful life all the time..... how can that be bad?

Oh sure, how people have shared their faith with others has certainly caused a lot challenges in people's lives, but you can do it with grace, gentleness, enthusiasm, humility.

I have a feeling others would think highly of you.

And if they don't.... what do you care?   You know you are a beloved child of God simply sharing the Good News Gospel of God in Jesus and the presence of God in your life through the Spirit.

That's a good thing!   What do you care what they think of you?  You want them to think of God, and you want them to think highly of God.  

So.... tell someone what you believe.  And maybe you will also have to tell them what you don't believe.

Stop worrying about what others might think of you.  Share the love of God in Christ, and let the Spirit do the rest.
