#CPC Wednesday Message 3-11-20
Wednesday Greetings,
Last week.... it was one of those days. The challenges of life were heavy. I took a break and went to the gym. I just wanted to work off the struggle I was carrying. As I entered the gym, some guy was lifting at the bicep curl machine. As I walked by we looked at each other, nodded heads, and he said,
"Have a blessed day."
I walked three steps more and realized.... it was just the message I needed to hear. I stopped, turned... (expecting actually that he wouldn't be there, I thought maybe it was God appearing and disappearing), but he was there. I said to him, "Thank you. You don't know how much I needed to hear that just now." He nodded.
That was it. He wasn't an angel, he wasn't a mysterious appearance of God... he was just a guy who reminded me that there are blessings in every day, even the challenging ones.
It didn't change my whole life; it didn't even change my whole day. It didn't take away the challenges.
But it was enough and gave me a moment to refocus and remember... God is with me, and sometimes that's enough to know.
Have a blessed day.
