Wow, it turned cold in Tucson!  We had to prepare by making sure there was extra room in shelters for people, that our pets were brought inside, that our pipes and plants were covered and protected.

When you know something is coming, you prepare for it!

Hey, guess what!  Jesus' birthday is coming.

It's time to prepare. That's a part of what Advent is all about. 

In this season, take some more time to refamiliarize yourself with the story found in Matthew and Luke, the only two Gospels that share this part of Jesus' earthly life.

While you're thinking about gifts for others, thank God for the gift you were given... Immanuel, God's presence in this world, directly!

While you're finding time to spend with others, make sure to find more time to spend with God!

There are so many ways you can prepare.

It's time to get ready!
