Hush... Listen...

The Voice of God can be heard... or felt, seen, noticed, sensed...

Sometimes I forget to listen.  I go to God in prayer with my desire to connect, with my desires I need help with, with the things I want to give thanks...

... and I forget to take time to just hush.... and listen.

I suppose sometimes it's just because I'm busy, or mostly because I need something from God, and I admit, it's sometimes because I don't want to hear what God has to say....

... because sometimes what God has to say is actually really hard to live out. 

ouch

But if I hope that God might listen to me, then I need to be prepared to listen to God.

Maybe that's a fundamental part of being in a relationship.

So, I'm gonna stop now.... hush... and listen...
