"I love to accomplish a great and noble task, but it my chief duty to accomplish humble tasks as though they were great and noble. The world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate of the tiny pushes of each volunteer." Helen KellerI often return to this quote at the beginning of a new year. Looking ahead and hoping to do even greater things in the new year, it reminds me that every action of my life, no matter how tiny, is a part of pushing creation into the hands of God. And every little push, like every great shove, is a part of what can lead others into deeper faith. We all have a part to play in life. Not all of us will be well known for our part. But we all have a part. So, do what is yours, great or small. It's all a part of helping God lead creation back to God.
Peace in our journeys,
