Today, I offer a prayer you might pray.... for God, not to God....


God, Thank you for being you. 

It must not be easy being you.  You must be busy all the time.  There's always somebody asking for something, telling you what you should be doing, yelling at you for the pain in their lives, thanking you for the joy in their lives, blaming you, turning to you, turning away from you.

It must not be easy being you.

So, right now, I offer this prayer for you, not so much to you.  I thank you for all that you are.  And I pray that you have a good day, that somewhere, somehow, in someone, in me... you are proud of what you have created.  I pray that you find joy in your incredible creation.  I pray that you feel the love we have for you, the love I have for you, and that feeling of love sustains you in all that you have to do, in all that you are.

You're amazing God.  And I love you.
Thank you for being you.
