#CPC Wednesday Message 7-17-24

Wednesday Greetings,

The Monsoons have returned to Tucson.  The skies fill with billowing clouds, the sounds of thunder rumble across the airwaves, and the rains fall from above floating the desert with the thirst-quenching waters so desperately needed.  The storms are powerful and mighty.

and I remembered Psalm 19:

"The heavens are telling the glory of God;
and the firmament proclaims God's handiwork.
Day to day pours forth speech,
and night to night declares knowledge.
There is no speech, nor are there words;
their voice goes out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world."

The storms may not speak our language, but they speak God's.  God is filled with power, and sometimes it floods over us, sometimes it eludes us for a while, sometime it is gentle and soothing...

But God's power is proclaimed.

All praise to the mighty and powerful God.

Peace in our journeys,
Pastor Steve Melde
