Thou shalt not complain about rain in the desert.

Ok, it's not one of the 10 commandments, and it actually isn't even a command of God.    It's a motto I repeat to myself whenever it rains, especially when I wish it was warm and sunny.

Because in the desert, we just don't know when the next rain will come, and in this desert, we need rain!

I suppose in part, I say this motto to myself, to remind myself that I need to really trust the system God created.  God knows better than I do when the rain should come.

And so, no matter my plans, I am learning to give God thanks for God's plans.

So, I try hard to not complain.... about rain in the desert..... and other things, too.

I'm learning to trust God, more and more.  And I invite you to, too!
