Hooray. Another Palindrome day....12-22-21 It's the reminder we need this Christmas week, whether we are coming or going, heading forward or backward, God is coming into our lives, to be with us in the midst of it all. Immanuel... God is with Us. Hallelujah. We are not left on our own to get through this life. God is the way, and through Jesus is leading us into the way. Whether I take steps forward or backward, I'm staying in the pathway. Hope you will join me! Remember to join us for worship on Christmas Eve (Tucson Time) 5 p.m. in/from the Fellowship Hall with the Band 9 p.m. in/from the Sanctuary with the choirs. With the new mask mandates from the City of Tucson in Pima County, we are encouraging in-person attendees to wear masks. We'll have hand sanitizer stations at the doors. Doing so helps to limit the spread of COVID even for those who are vaccinated and experience breakthrough cases. I know we are frustrated with this, but we can do it. Helping our medical folks who are helping us to keep as much of the spread of a virus as possible is a good thing. If you will be worshiping online, make sure you have a candle ready for the singing of Silent Night. If you need candles, let us know at the church, we have plenty of the small worship candles and drip papers ready for you. You can always give us a call and set up a time to stop by and pick some up for worship at home or wherever you may be.
Peace in our journeys,
Pastor Steve Melde
