#CPC Wednesday Message 10-12-22
Wednesday Greetings,
I love reading the Bible. Today, this is what I read:"Dead flies make the perfumer's ointment give off a foul odor..." Ecclesiastes 10:1Well. I hope you are as enlightened in your faith as I was in reading that. This is the Word of the Lord. Thanks be to God.I giggled when I read it, and some of the surrounding verses, and I realized that there is a lot of wisdom in the Bible, not all of it is faith building. And then I realized that not everything is in the Bible. It can't talk about everything, everyone, every situation. But there is wisdom in it for everything, everyone, and every situation.The Bible is a wonderful collection of people's journeys of faith, how they observed life, God, and struggled to understand all of life... even flies in perfume.Today, I invite you to take some time to read the Bible. Agree with it. Disagree with it. Giggle as your read it. And find its wisdom for your life. What it's really trying to show you is how God is with us, in everything, everyone, and every situation. Enjoy!
