Wednesday Message 2-24-21

Wednesday Greetings,

Last week I was iced/snowed in in Austin, TX.  What an adventure.

I learned again that all of life is filled with joys/sorrows, fun/not-fun, success/failure, good times/bad times.

When God told us that we would have life abundantly, God meant it!

I re-learned to be grateful that no matter what I face, I face it with the presence of God's Holy Spirit with me.  Sometimes I could feel that presence, other times not.  But my faith reminded me that no matter my experience, God is with me.  And I figure if the great Creator of the entire Universe is with me, then somehow I'm in good hands, no matter what happens to me.

My Austin experience wasn't horrible.  But I'm going to tuck that experience into my memory so that when the abundant life comes (especially in a difficult way) I'll remember that as God was with me then, God will always be with me.  I'm always in God's hands, no matter what happens to me.

That brings me peace in my journey.

I pray it brings you peace in yours.

Peace in our journeys,
Pastor Steve Melde
